Looking over the How did you learn to draw thread and seeing so many 9Rules answer — it got me intrigued!

Show off your favorite sketches, if you have'em. I'll jumpstart the thread, here are a few done in 2004.

First one was a play of cyber/bony robots. An experiment for the most part.

This one I did right after a trip to Venice, Italy. Every other shop there sells really cool masks — hence, the masked man below.

I haven't done much on paper lately, but my girlfriend gave me a Wacom Tablet christmas '05 (awesome, awesome gift). I haven't had time to master the tablet like I was going to — it's amazing what the professional concept artists can do with Photoshop and a tablet. But here's one of my attempts, done in Photoshop:

Share yours! :-)

*bump*

This is a fun note in the making. However, I don't really sketch or draw. I shoot. So I've got nothing.

I love Boring3D :)

I just wish I could figure out how to DO 3D like him.

I like the pink spork monster! What are you using to create the Ninja/teddy illustrations? Illustrator?

But since I probably missed the boat on the PURPOSE of the note... here's something I posted earlier of my own creation.

@RightOn
You've blown me away. F'n fantastic work dude!

Damn! Those are amazing RightOn!

clarification - "of my own creation" doesn't imply anything outside of 'I used my time to draw these in Illustrator'... the characters I drew are other people's creations. :)

Remove spaces next to the < and >

Oh there! Thanks peroty =)

My mistake was that I didn't put a space between " and /> toward the ends.

I like your fashion sketches, chrichi...nice tones, lines and flow to all of them!

I just wish I could sketch people :)

It takes me FOREVER.

I can't even sketch or draw good stick figures!

Beautiful work, all!

*wishes I could draw even remotely like that*

Hmmm, very strange, I shouldn't have hot-linking disabled.

In any case, if anyone would like to see my sketches: check below. I have been making at least one a day for awhile now. They are nothing like Mr. Thorrison's, and other fantastic work here, but I enjoy making them. It's how I vent.

Oh, I also have my own sense of humour... I mostly amuse myself.

My sketches vary in styles, but this is one which I liked.
