I’ve only been fortunate enough to sample RC Cola in the States a couple of times in my youth. I have no idea if it is still sold in America, but I do remember how ugly the design of the cans were.

Hideous right? Good news though, it seems they are releasing an updated package, but unfortunately it is meant for Spain. Why the Europeans get the nice simple packaging while Americans get the glittery, in your face mess is beyond me. Can’t say I like it that way.

Going head-to-head against Coca-Cola and Pepsi is no easy task, so it’s great to see that RC Cola did the wise thing and prove they can at least beat them on packaging. You have to draw your audience in first and hope that the taste of the cola matches the beautiful work done on the packaging.
