David Airey is a member on 9rules and has been running a great design (logo and graphic) blog for over a year now, but he's been on break for most of December so far and now it looks like his site redirects to http://www.bebu.net/
Does anyone (hopefully David will see this) know what happened to his site?

His site seems to work fine for me (no redirection)... and he posted on December 1st, is he not posting on his regular posting pattern?

Doesn't work for me. He was taking a break for a month or so, not sure what actually happened.

[Obligatory statement that confirms site also does not work for me yet adds nothing to the conversation.]

I don't know where he went? If I wasn't feeling lazy, I'd have made a 'Missing' milk-carton illustration with David's face on it and put it right where the x is:
X
But since I am lazy, please imagine it's really there.

hthth: I prefer full fat milk rather than semi-skimmed. Could you also produce a version that is on a carton of full fat?

*turns carton*
Now with 100% fat!

I get a server could not be found thing too. I know he's taking a break (until the 20th of this month) but I don't know if he's checking his email so I've sent him an one to let him know what's happening.

He is taking a break until the 20th. Sad thing is, his site has been hacked. He's a good friend of mine, so I'm trying to find out what host he uses, but I don't know how to do that. Does anyone know? Whois is throwing up the hackers server.
If you can find out the host, contact them and let them know. Or tell me, and I'll do it.
Edit - He is checking his email now and again. I see him on, but it's more sporadic than usual.

Update:
A friend of mine found out his host, so I emailed them. Hopefully they can sort it out, and fast. David's blog is an integral part of his business, and it doesn't look good when it's hacked.

I emailed him also, hopefully he gets it sorted out. The clipart site that it was redirecting too was pretty awful.
All I get now is server not found instead of that awful clipart site redirect.

Hey guys,
Thanks for asking about me.
I've been on vacation for a while, and in my absence it seems someone hacked my GoDaddy account, where davidairey.com was held, and changed the nameservers. At least that's what I think happened, but I'm no expert.
GoDaddy have yet to reply to the email I sent them a couple of days ago, which isn't helpful, but hopefully they will soon.
Dustin, if you sent an email to an account of mine with davidairey.com at the end, sadly, I didn't receive it. All emails to those addresses have failed since this happened.
Sorry about that, and thanks everyone for wondering about me.

Thats horrible, it looks like it is redirecting to a parking page right now.
Yeah, after I had sent the email I realized that if your domain wasn't working neither would your email. So.... yeah.
I hope it all gets sorted it out soon, I'm sure you are dying to get back to writing and surely missing the work that is generated by your site.

Thanks Dustin.
I'm taking the matter to court, as GoDaddy (where the domain is currently hosted), can't do anything about the matter until they receive notice of an investigation. At that point, the domain will be locked until agreement is made.
Who knows how long that'll take, but hopefully the WIPO (who I've contacted about the dispute) are pretty sharpish about these things. My fingers are crossed.

Thanks shadowsun.
I've been able to move my blog to my .co.uk domain, and have published news of my domain name theft here:
