What's the intent of the blog? Looks cool BTW...

Cool idea... would you find it within your scope to maybe post about logos that don't or ALMOST work and what you feel would be needed to MAKE them work? I think that would be equally beneficial to someone who would be a potential reader.

I can present some kind of 'logo clinic' series, whereby I offer my own take, or ask others what they think would improve upon the design.

Yeah, logo design is a really difficult and subjective thing. I think offering case studies and design tutorials would be good to help people get started.
