Has anyone noticed the silent redesign of the Tivo Site?

The new design, IMHO, (take a look here)is actually stunningly elegant. I really like the tone on tone coloring of the blue as well as the simplified navigation. They are planning to add some easier to use features as well. All in all, I am impressed with the direction the product is going. Recently they have won their lawsuits and brought back the lifetime service plan, and now a new site with fresh easy to use content. Welcome Back Tivo. I never left your side.

On the homepage I would like more of a description of what it is. As it stands now you get almost zero information unless you click somewhere so it seems a bit of a waste. The aesthetics of the page are nice though.

I remember hearing about this in one or two places. It looks nice but I don't really understand the whole thinking behind it. As Scrivs says, they seem to have done their best to hide all the information.
I've also noticed that many pages still use the old design. Doing just about anything with your account--for example--take you back to the older design.

True, the homepage lacks information for anyone that does not already know what tivo is, it really should have some info, or embed somethin telling in the video. As for the rest of the site, they discuss the migration here it explains that the changes will be fazed in over the next few weeks.

Wonder how much longer it would have taken them to wait for the whole site to transition over instead of just doing the homepage?
