I use breadcrumbs instead. Well, not real breadcrumbs, since what they're really doing is showing where you are in the hierarchy instead of the path that you've taken to get to that page. But it essentially gives you links to "back".

I think generally journalists and artists get consent from people they photograph, if they're recognizable in the photo. I know my dad (an artist) has done so. And you'll notice, on the news, if they do some segment on obesity or something, the footage they show is always from the neck down, so you can't recognize them.

It's awfully rude (don't know if it's actually illegal) to post pictures of strangers and write derogatory statements about them. Imagine coming across a picture of yourself like that.

Seems a lot more cluttered.

I used to take viola lessons in a neat old Victorian house. There was a lovely little landing partway up the stairs with window seats and the tops of the windows were prismatic, throwing rainbows everywhere.
