Well...to sum it up. The geek shall inherit the Earth.
I don't hear anything about nerds, dweebs or dorks.

Let's not forget that men have breasts too. Whoever says otherwise hasn't done anatomy or seen Mr Big Mac at the beach.
It's used in an educational context, how can it be offensive?
I may not be in the business, but while I do follow most standards I've learnt that there are a lot of things you can junk because despite it all, it's still going to look the same in every major browser anyway.
The question like most people here ask is, do I want to spend hours trying to comply to web standards or do I want to actually put content on the site that people actually read?
Come on, aside from those of us that designed the site, who's going to see that you're a pixel or 2 off the margin?
Nice. I love the simplicity of it. Everything stands out the way it should and it's not overly cluttered.
I also like how you managed to get the font colours right with the gradient, something that I could never do especially when I was redesigning my blog.
For the web?
Lucida sans unicode. Somehow, for the font size I use, it always looks pretty.
Gah...I don't want to shovel pony poo.
Do you even know how many times a pony poops?
Maybe it's that male ego designer thing that makes all the guys stand out.
But not Mike Rundle. Mike's nice. Mike's always nice. :)
Crap...the entire main content of my blog is justified. No wonder few people come back and read or miss out important parts completely. I thought it just looks neater with having justified texts.
Only Code Nazi's are going to chase you down for it. No one really cares if your code validates completely or not. As long as it works for all browsers and it doesn't look like you have something amiss and given as long as it's neat. You don't have to hunt down that missing ampersand.
Well...in my mind, not that I think it's ugly. But doesn't it look like Lisa Simpson doing something she shouldn't be doing at her age? I'm sitting here going "Hmmm, that's not right."
Haha, it is a Koala bear. It's one of my favourite photos. I rarely do anything so artistic.
I don't have any experience in this, but I guess the basic rules of lighting and positioning apply.
Also...do not forget to remove the lens cap on the camera. :P
I've been testing it recently alongside my own asides on my blog. Seems to work well so far. I don't know if it's an information overload anyway.
"Black" would be simple enough
I use it on my blog too. It's a plugin called miniblog. It works quite well as you can see.
I know I usually don't put a desktop wallpaper. But I found one that I couldn't resist because it reflects my current state of life so well. Mind you it is NSFW so I didn't bother putting the image up.
The 9 rules about taking Edrei's photograph.
1. I am not photogenic.
2. Any light is too much light.
3. Pictures of me are banned in various countries due to the fact they are considered Weapons of Mass Destruction.
4. Any photos revealing more than just the face and limbs (eg topless photos) can cause blindness to the viewer.
5. I am not responsible for the camera shattering upon my photo being taken.
6. If possible, all photographs of me should be replaced by my double. As shown here in this example:

7. In the event that a photo has to be taken. It has to be taken without my knowledge.
8. My soul must be returned to me should it be taken along with the photograph.
9. Lastly and I can't stress this enough. I am not photogenic.
Flight? Flight? Jump was hard enough. Ahhhhh!!!
"White" or "Black"
"Entendre"
Hahaha...then again it is Wednesday where I live right now so go figure. :)
I wonder how should I interpret this next? Mmmmmmm....
Try the FujiFilm F30. That would be the end to your night shot problems.
The best advice I can give is to create a separate stylesheet using:
''
That way you can also tweak it for IE7 at the same time and it won't mess with the browsers that abide by W3 standards.
No brainer there. The Canon A710IS is what you want. It's a little bulkier than it's other point and shoot counterparts, but it's got full manual settings and lens attachments. Short of dSLR, this takes the cake.
Though, its night shots aren't as good as the F30. But if you want full manual with the dexterity of a point and shoot, that's the only one you'll find.
FujiFilm is known for its noise clearing capabilities at ridiculously high ISO's. I took that picture at about ISO 1600. It can go to a maximum ISO of 3200 with some noise in it.
Yes it can record video with sound as well.
Point and Shoot?
I'd go for the FujiFilm FinePix F30. It isn't the smallest, nor the prettiest, but it is the most versatile. I'd recommend it if you find yourself taking a lot of low light pictures without flash. It's also got image stabilization.
It's also got manual aperture and shutter priority so you can play around with it under low light conditions. But the low light settings in it work pretty well too. Here is one of my pictures using the low light settings. Actually I was using the sunset settings cause the night light caused it to be a little brighter than I wanted it to be.
It's pretty fast too, 1.8 seconds from start to a picture taken. I'd recommend it any day as a blogger's camera.

You can't resist a good penguin. Especially a geeky penguin.
