Hey everyone,
What are some of the best sites right now for a freelancer to go on and bid on web design type projects.
Thanks

I don't think it's the focus is still on that link, I think just the link behavior got moved with it. Hovering over the link that was moved then "removes" the hover effect.
I will try your suggestion though.

I can't figure out the solution to my current problem. Basically, I am moving a list item and its link to a new box when clicked, and then vice versa.
When the link is clicked, I "believe" Internet Explorer is taking the last known instance of the link (it's hover state) and then moving it to its new location (box #2). I want it to treat the link like other browsers do.
Can I get around this?

Hey Binary,
Yea, that is very close...only different is automating it to rotate, but you are spot on.
Thanks,
Bryan
I think you guys are missing the point. I am wanting to "see" live demos/examples people have done.
I realize it wouldn't be that hard to do code wise, but I want to see the creativity people have used before with it.
Thanks
kind of...but not quite.
Hey everyone,
This is driving me crazy. I have seen the effect on multiple homepages, but the effect I am after is when there is a slideshow of sorts on a homepage and there is an indicator that toggles through each 'story" on a timed basis, so maybe showing each one every 3-5 seconds.
http://www.golf.com/ does this, but its not the look I have seen. The ideal look is where there is a large image with some form of a giant arrow to the right of image and you can tell there are extra sections it will be looping through on a timed basis. Think of it like this image
I know Stylegala had their Bullet Madness a couple years ago and have never updated their list.
I would love to find some resources that has a lot of different graphics for list style bullets.
Any thoughts?
I am going off of memory here, but the comment above stated:
It would be different if you were in your house with the window open and someone took a photo of you through that window
I took media law in college, and I believe one thing I heard was that if you have your blinds open and people can clearly see you in your home and they take a photo, its technically not illegal.
However, if you have a tint or obstruction on your window that prevents everyday people from seeing into your home, and someone takes a high powered telephoto lens to get through that obstruction, tint, or whatnot, then they have broken the law.
That might need some clarification, but I believe that is correct.
I am just wondering, but what is the purpose or benefit of using @import versus just linking a stylesheet?
From a standpoint of sending requests to the server, does one trump the other, is there a speed difference, or is it simply just a matter of doing 1 particular thing 2 different ways.
Thanks
Hrm...Ad block may be my next install :)
Design looks good, I wasn't too impressed with a giant ad the first time I visited the homepage.
That pretty much sucked.
Does anyone know of a site or sites where there is a great effect using a comment bubble in large proportions (i.e; maybe wrapping an entire comment inside a comment looking bubble, etc..)?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
weird, never seen the error, just hundreds among hunreds of thumbnails trying to load
This is pretty cool. Very long load, but TONS of CSS based websites

The example you have is a very stripped down version.
In my local copy, I have other links on the page, and even after I have moved an item from Box #1 to Box #2, and then click on some completely different link on the page, the hover color still maintains on that link that was moved.
That is why I believe the focus has nothing to do with it.
