Have you guys seen this chair?
Hey, it took me a while to figure it all out too, after you get used to it, everything makes more sense. I'd say don't give up, keep playing around you won't be disappointed.
I like what you had to say right on!

I was just asking myself this question this morning, and I am glad to hear your response chris
Cool thanks, so you suggest by the hour not a flat rate?
I have been doing graphic design for a few years now, but I am now just offering my service to the "public". I mainly do headers and logos for blogs, as I am still learning css. Anyway, I am having trouble deciding on prices, as I don't want to charge way to much but I don't want to sell myself short either. What do you guys suggest?
By the way I know you guys have a lot of other things to do than answer yet another question like this but it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Well the good thing about a personal site is that it's well... personal. You can write about whatever the heck you want.
eventually I would like to do professionally
I’ve been tossing around the idea of offering some of my services in the graphic arts area. I do mostly fliers and stuff like that but I also can do stuff for blogs (ex. headers, logos). Now here’s my dilemma, should I make these for free download or should I put a price on them? Ooh, or should I offer some free downloads, and then also offer custom jobs for a fee? Like I said I am just throwing around these ideas, let me know what you think.
That was awesome!
if you use squidfingers you can change the colors in your favorite graphic program :)

wow, I thought I was a geek. I meant that in a loving way! At first I was like, "only nerds would know this" then it turned into "oh, I wish I was a nerd so I could answer"
gotcha that makes sence
Right, if you want more readers then adjust for all, but if your like ozone and just want to please your already existing readers stick to what they use. That's why I agree w/ you and Rose, I would rather not alienate anyone.
Rose, I totally see your point. I think Ozone an a lot of other people here have other bloggers and designers as their main traffic, and most, not all but most do use above 1024 x 768, because things, well just look better at that resolution. So while I see your point 100% I think I see his as well.
I use them all the time, like oli said it's easier to find past posts. Of course there is no reason I would use it on a blog I just started reading.
Is that kind of like photo bucket, or am I way off? Sorry the whole design and tech part of blogging is still new to me.
