These three are my favorites:
I really love this thread, the results are amazing. A nice seemingly random (but actually not so random) collection of pictures.
Marilyn Manson at Pinkpop 2007 with 2,505 views:
I'm amazed it turned out so well because five minutes before Marilyn Manson came on stage a severe thunderstorm poured enormous amounts of rain over us so I had to quickly wrap my camera in a plastic bag and pretty much shot photos without looking, trying to catch mister Manson while attempting to keep my camera dry.
We have party for a friend who is leaving for Singapore tonight. He is getting a Return - Home keychain. Hahahaha!
Thanks for the great response, I'll pass it on!! I'd been away for a few weeks and in the meanwhile they'd been pixelpushing to the max :)
And number 1 and 3 have pins so I can wear them as jewelry ;)
New Year's resolution: Another attempt at 365 because it makes such good reflective material!
I just wanted to share these photos of the incredible hand-made birthday gifts my friends gave me. They rock!!
1. My friends (including my non-geeky friends) often call me "the Web 2.0 Girl"
2. Notebooks for Random Access Memory
3. Extra memory and my avatar in pixels.
4. Control-Alt-Delete (if I ever lose my keys again)
I dislike services that make me grab for a dictionary.
My English is pretty decent, but 'percolating' ? OK I looked it up.
meh
I agree with Andrew. The background is giving my eyes a bit of a hard time especially because of a lack of contrast with the text. Keep going!
Never heard of it, but the preview looks excellent. It sounds like a method that isn't necessarily supportive of "any tips or tricks to take better pictures" because it reminds me of lomography. Take it as you get it and sometimes it turns out brilliant.
Definitely gonna try it if I am near my old film camera.
Ever since I bought my Sigma 17-70 f/2.8-4.5 I am so happy about it's multipurpose usage. I would highly recommend it.
I also love my 50 mm f/1.8 but just as publicenergy mentioned it is sometimes a bit tight :) It is a wonderful portrait lens.
I am in the middle of packing all my stuff but as soon as I have time I will post a photo reply because I already love this note. I have a Crumpler laptop/photobag, it is a wonderful bag for uber geeks like me :)
Thank you for all the tips, this has made the decision process even harder but I'll get there :)
I have tons of CSS books/guides/tutorials in PDF format but I don't like using them as a reference. For some reason the good old paper format seems to work really well. Which CSS reference guide/tutorial book would you recommend? My criteria are: beginner friendly, slightly designer-oriented and preferable recently released.
I am thinking about one of these:
Especially the last one looks really good. What is your favorite CSS book, which one would you recommend?
Halfway my getting organized, making plans and GTD I am distracted by something. I think that says it all.
When I got a Flickr Pro account there was no way of stopping me anymore! And a new piece of equipment also lights my fire.
I also tried to participate in the 365 Pool but after twelve days I was too busy I skipped days and forgot. Reading this thread makes me want to start again. I wish I wasn't so vein and just post my ugly morning pictures. That would definitely help! :)
@Giant: I love your avatar, it's a piece of art! ;)
I wrote a whole series on WordPress and Photo Galleries and after trying a few I just settled on Flickr.
It totally depends on my activity. I can't read or write very well with music on. I prefer PHP coding with post-rock (Mogwai, And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead). I design with anything from USK (Gameboy Techno) to Mika to Pinback to the Smashing Pumpkins.
I don't visit a lot of photoblogs either, for the same reasons publicenergy mentions. I do browse through my Flickr neighborhood very often though.
Georgia for print.
If you are thinking about a WordPress based photoblog I wrote a series of articles on WordPress Photoblog themes
Good luck.
I don't see it and the whole stream interface is giving me undefined errors, and those are the best errors!
2x haha
Yes, bring it back. I agree that it is not so much about taking the perfect picture as it is about the challenge itself. Maybe two weeks?
I've switched from an analogue Canon to a digital Nikon after a lot of holding, feeling and trying out camera's in several stores. I eventually settled on a Nikon because it felt more solid, the grip was better for my hands, the shutter was more silent and I liked the interface better. It all depends on what you want and what feels best. I might switch back to Canon one day if I haven't bought a zillion of Nikon lenses in the meanwhile. And I must admit I like the Nikon brand, it has this geeky feeling to it for me personally. It is like Nike (Canon) versus Adidas (Nikon), you can't go wrong with both.
I try out new filters in my try-out version of Adobe Lightroom.
I love minimalistic themes like this one.
a 17-55mm f2.8 for Nikon D50
It looks fine now in Windows except that I think the focus is too much on the first side bar, the middle column. I think you should align things differently and put more focus on the content.
It looks nice, clean and functional. Great job! Ultimate Tag Warrior Compatability implementation is a great idea BUT UTW is currently incompatible with WordPress 2.2 and tagging will very likely be implemented in 2.3 so it might not be worth the hassle. Just my 2 cents.

View from my attic window. This is one of my all time favorites because I love the foggy mood of the picture. It is part of an ongoing series that I am making from my attic. At one point there was a huge ferris wheel visible in the background. I love the typical Amsterdam houses and that's why I love my neighborhood. You can see the tackles we use for moving because the staircases are so tiny we have to move our stuff through our windows. You can take the windows out and use the tackle to bring stuff up.

Thanks for the tip! They / we've been thinking about selling this kind of stuff. Not because we want to make big money but we thought people might be interested and we love getting together, listen music, drink some wine and craft.
